What things can i do to make y computer run more efficiently?

some things i do regularly are:

defrag.

disc cleanup

scan for spyware (i use windows defender)

scan for viruses ( i use pc pitstop)

i also use norton security spyware scanner as well.

Click " START " in the lower corner - then " Click" on " ALL PROGRAMS " - then click on " ACCESSORIES" - when the next bar opens up click on " SYSTEM TOOLS " - then click on "DISC CLEAN UP" ..

Click on "START" - then "CONTROL PANEL " - then " PRFORMANCE and MAINTENANCE" - then click on " ARRANGE ITEMS ON YOUR HARD DISC TO MAKE PROGRAMS RUN FASTER " - then when the "Defragger " bar opens up, click ( with your mouse) on "PRESARIO D"- and click DEFRAG..........................then

Then click on " PRESARIO C" and do the same thing .

clean up your disk manually...try to delete unneeded and lame softwares...also try to increase empty disk space by deleting things such as old pictures (burn them to a cd) if it is working really really low try formatting it....make sure to burn ur important stuff first
Don't use anything Norton. And turn off the services that run in the background, the ones you don't need.
As well as what you are already doing, you could get this nifty little program called Ccleaner (free)

Ccleaner cleans up your registry, cleans out IE, Firefox, and Opera. It even cleans out your recycle bin.

If you don't have the program and your PC is bogging a little bit, then get it.

I have been using this program for a while now and personally i love it. It cleared out heaps of space in my PC and made it run so much faster.

you may also want to go to add or remove programs to delete programs not being used or burn them to a cd as well as pictures.
