Im studying to become A+ certified, my question is i want to know how much would my salary increase if learn the networking, and will i be even better off knowing Security also?would i be valued more?

Certs aren't as important as a degree and experience.. but if you are going to get a cert get a microsoft cert since they hold higher to most companies.

Many of the CompTia certifications are required to even get an interview. Some companies offer incentives to get these certifications and these certifications can land you a $15-20 an hour job. As with any formal education the more you know the better. It will increase your ability and versatility in a job and only increases your value to the company.
More certs = more money. A+ is extremely easy and it does not prove much. For networking go the Cisco route. CCNA, CCNP and if possible CCIE. CCISP would be great.
