How Do You Back Up A Computer Programme Onto A Cd?

I need to this for work as I am in charges of wages and accounts in a small reason. I want to do this for security reasons but am not really sure how to physically do it. Any help would be majorly appreciated! p.s I live in the UK

If you mean copying the software program you would have to have the original disk and do a copy of it and run it on your home PC. This can be illegal.

You can make a new disk off the computer but would have to know where all the program files are distributed. Not an easy task as they are spread all over the system so different functions can be performed.

Also be aware of the Data Protection Act which carries a jail sentence if you store personal information about people and are not registered to do so.

Easier if you don't take your work home with you :-)

The easier way is is to get an USB external harddisk ( 320GB ) and copy everything you got from your PC. or you can get backup software like clone or Drive image or Backup?
It's unusual to need to backup the SOFTWARE that you're using (there should be a CD or floppy disk already, but if the software was downloaded, one normally is able to take a copy of the installation files, and any notes and registration key info).
