Instructions on how to block websites from my computer?

I am looking for instructions on how to block certain websites ie. Facebook from my comp. I'm using Mozilla Firefox to get on the internet.

I've tried the 'tools-options-security' setting but it doesn't give me the option to block websites. Can anyone give me straight forward instructions?

you have to paste the website into, the restricted sites tab, check this option in, tools-option-security"

you can use NetDog : http://www.netdogsoft.com , it's easy just add the websites to "Always blocked website list" in NetDogAdmin.exe, none will be able to open it
