about:blank is not a website.. its just a blank page on IE. may be the site that opens up on ur IE is some adware site..

anyways, if u want to change ur homepage to yahoo, then in Internet Explorer, click Tools || Internet Options.

In homepage field, type http://www.yahoo.com

and click OK.

That probably is a sign of spyware infection. Try scanning and removing any spyware on your computer. Then try restoring your browser settings as they have been hijacked.

this is what you are going to do, go to internet explorer options and find the privacy setting...you can see it there the URL you want to block or allow..e.g www.friendster.com, put in there the url address and apply it once then you're done or one thing you can add a password with your hint question then appl...now problemm solve.
