I switched Internet providers and my computer wont connect now to the new provider.?

I was told it was because of a setting in my pc, like a security setting. i have no idea what it could be. any suggestions?

Provided you have the info entered corectly for connecting to your ISP, you can look at these possibilities:

If you have a firewall, security could be set too high, in which case you lower the security settings to allow the site.

Contact your ISP and have their help people walk you through the setup. (This should be done first, they are charging you for the service and have an obligation to assist with any problems related to the connection)

Try different browsers as sometimes the security is set by the specific browser not the PC.

call the new provider you hooked up too and have them help you solve the problem so you can connect.
i would call the provider you have now and speak to there tech department . they should help you also you did not say who was your provider u had and the new one u have now
It could be a lot of things, but best to call your new provider and have them help set up the account...
