I don't know your situation but I have had a couple of bad viruses, and here in Asia we get the hard drive brain-washed i.e. wiped clean. They can sometimes salvage a few files but the engineers don't like to save anything incase they are contaminated. I normally pay about $25 for this service but now I have important files backed up on CDs. Good luck.
It would help if you named the Trojan you have.
