I have norton internet security 2008, is there any way to make my pc start up faster....

The one thing Norton cannot do successfully is AV software unfortunately. You seriously need a powerful PC in my experience to cope with it.

If you want to keep Norton, then you may need to wipe your PC, install norton straight after, then any other software. That can help.

Otherwise ditch norton, and go for something else, whether thats ESET Nod32 Suite, BitDefender, or Comodo Suite (free).

Either try as suggested or go to start menu + click the run, type in msconfig then hit ok. It will come up with all your start programmes search through them + untick the non necessary start up programmes + ok it. Try that .
Norton just slows it down....i have 2 gb and ram and all that with Vista so it's all really fast...so if you have anything less than all that and it's with a little memory left....you're gonna have to format it =(

You have to have 2GB of RAm to make it a hell lot faster
