I've got a lot of personal information on my computer. Credit card stuff etc. How do I get rid of it before I sell?

Boot off the system CD and reformat your hard drive - multiple pass and zero data. Use Disk Utility. Would take a good amount of time depending on your comps' speed but it will securely erase ur hard drive.

You will need to re-install the system (since EVERYTHING is erased) then the comp is good to go.

do a quick format on the hard drive and do a full install
A good strong magnet will completly erase the hard drive. Than re-install windows so you can show the customer it works. You can find industrial magnets at most hardware stores. They may even let you "test" it on the harddrive for free!
