when my daughter logs on to her account a mesage appears with a count down that says "unable to open profile due to insserfishant security rights opening temporary profile if this presist contact network administor" a account then opens with her icons on screen but with no files in them, we have checked the hard disc memory and it shows that the data is still on there any ideas how to find files

anyway boot into safe mode and log into the admin acct then deletete the temp acct previously created and reboot ur daughters acct should come up now

was there a hard shurdown performed before this started?

This can also happen with "Quotas". If a profile has been restricted with quotas, that basically means a profile has been limited to the amount of disk space it is allowed to use - a maximum size for the profile. Once the size limit has been reached, the system will not allow the profile to load, and the admin will have to clear out data from the profile.

To disable quotas, you do need to login with an administrator account to reset. It may be that temporary internet files (watching movie trailers and such) have caused the profile to fill up.
